Role Description
This is a full-time job for a Systems Administrator at Cole Technologies located in Tucson, Arizona. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our clients’ IT infrastructure and systems. This includes monitoring and maintaining network performance, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring the security and integrity of all data and systems. You will be expected to analyze system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems and networks, plan and execute security measures to protect our infrastructure, perform routine audits of systems and software, and conduct system backups and disaster recovery operations.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience managing and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure
- Experience with Windows and Linux server administration, Active Directory management, and virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and VPN
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
- CompTIA Security ce certification preferred but not required
