OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Director of Credit & Collections leads the overall Credit & Collections function for Coleman Oil.
- Ensures policies regarding the investigation of customers, extension of credit lines and collections are followed.
- Designs and implements processes to improve cash flow and reduce past due receivables.
- Oversees the negotiation and course of action taken on overdue accounts.
- Manages a department of credit & collections associates and creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the team.
- Responsible for minimizing Bad Debt and approving Bad Debt Write-offs within delegation.
- Oversees the outside collection agency activity including agency selection.
- Leads the Credit Team’s collaboration with Sales in a flexible, customer-centric approach to support company growth objectives.
- Participates in Sales Meetings and regular meetings with Executive Leadership.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- 8 years Credit and Collections Management, Leadership experience preferred
- Bachelors Degree in Business or related field preferred
- Strong negotiation skills

COMPENSATION:
Salary range - $80,000 TO $125,000 (DOE) with a Management by Objectives (MBO) Bonus
