If so, this is an opportunity to join a first-of-its-kind program in the area and help grow a national model for people with special needs.
Colin’s Lodge is a recreation and enrichment organization for young adults with cognitive differences. Its facility, located outside Dayton in Sugarcreek Township, is a unique and safe environment for friends to meet and develop/reinforce life and social skills through a variety of activities.
The member engagement staff’s main function will be to facilitate programming and ensure that Colin’s Lodge’s policies and procedures are followed. Staff members also will work in a small team to create, enhance and schedule future programming. Member engagement staff will supervise all member activities. Lodge hours are evenings and weekends. Staff members must be able to meet the physical and emotional demands of this program. Certification on CPR, FA and AED are needed ( we can assist with training on certifications, as needed).
With an understanding of Colin’s Lodge member-centric philosophy, staff members must be able to display sound judgment, accountability and a positive attitude. They must be able to work independently as well as with a team.
