Position Details:
Title: Data Analyst/SQL with Java/Python
Location: New York City only -Hybrid- 3X/week onsite
Duration: 12 months but they do extensions to 24 months
Compensation: $70/Hour
Start Date: ASAP
Interview Process: 2 rounds of interviews, first round phone with the lead 1:1 for 15 minutes, second round following day or two, 1.5hr-2hr WebEx with 3 leads each asking their own technical questions for 30 mins each.
Day to Day: Data Management and QA team in data analytics for equities and trade data
Must Haves:
- SQL expertise
- SQL querying and need to know how to write joins in SQL (inner joins/ outer joins etc)
- Scripting experience for Automation
- Exposure to Java or Python coding
- Strong communication
- Experience with trading, equities, fixed income or capital markets is a plus
- Understanding of Java, python or any other Oops concepts
