Job Description
Brief Description of the work to be performed:
• A Digital Content Admin will help create, build and publish multimedia content for Company’s internal communication platforms.
• S/he will be responsible for managing daily updates through content management systems, ensuring the style, tone, voice and subject fits with the overall editorial strategy for Company’s Global Internal Communications. Content forms will include work with text and multimedia.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day content uploading in Content Management Systems, includes staging, preparing for reviews, editing and publishing content
• Support and troubleshoot sending out mass HTML emails and web pages in Company’s intranet site
• Manage multimedia contributions from content producers
• Preps and executes graphics, photo and video formatting for use in global newsletter articles, the intranet site, and other vehicles
• Monitor and moderate employee comments submitted to online stories
• Analyze and communicate analytics to stakeholders.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical errors and challenges
• Act as a point-person and in-house “expert” for content publishing systems
Qualifications
Requirements and General Skills:
• Experience with Content Management Systems
• Experience with email marketing tools
• Understanding of new and emerging digital media trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Technical Skills:
• High degree of comfort using content management system (CMS) tools
• Good understanding of the components of common web technology (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Ability to do edits and enhancements of graphic images.
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Intermediate-Advanced user of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Acrobat
