Position Summary
- Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases. Develop and maintain database stored procedures, views, and functions that support reporting data models. Develop and maintain ETL processes. Produce ad-hoc queries that develop reports to support business needs.
- The ETL lead plays a pivotal role in managing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. They are responsible for coordinating with team members, setting up audit processes, and developing mappings using Java transformations. They also work on performance tuning, query tuning, and data profiling.
- Responsible for contributing to the planning of the work programs and the review, development, and modification of best practices and technical solutions. Provides supervision to a team of Developers. Manage work assignments of internal staff and schedule and monitor adherence to procedures, protocols, and standards.
Required Skills
- The responsibilities of ETL developers include designing, building, automating, and maintaining sophisticated programs that extract, convert, and load data. They are highly skilled and help in determining the company's storage requirements by performing multiple analyses.
