Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Java/MuleSoft Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, Spring Boot, REST API design, and experience with MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform. As a Java/MuleSoft Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable integration solutions that connect various applications and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, and project managers to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform, adhering to best practices and design patterns.
- Create API specifications and design RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange between different systems.
- Develop custom components and connectors to extend the capabilities of MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform.
- Build, test, and deploy APIs and integration solutions, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing integrations, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing performance.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in integration and API development.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper testing of integration solutions.
- Document integration processes, technical designs, and API specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java developer with a solid understanding of Java programming language and its ecosystem.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework for building RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio and API Manager.
- Familiarity with API design principles and best practices, including REST architecture.
- Experience working with various data formats such as JSON, XML, and YAML.
- Knowledge of integration patterns, message queuing, and asynchronous communication.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment and adapt to changing requirements.
- Any relevant certifications in MuleSoft or Java development is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other integration platforms and technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
