Collage Rehabilitation Partners is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our outstanding team in our Paoli, PA corporate office. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.
Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant position is responsible for supporting Finance Department functions for ReMed and all affiliated companies. This role performs general accounting and analytical functions including, but not limited to, journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analyses, monthly closings, financial reporting, and assists with the forecasting and budgeting processes in support of all ReMed companies.
- Prepares journal entries, account analyses and reconciliations in support of the company’s monthly closings
- Maintains and updates lease accounting software (Visual Lease) in compliance with ASC 842 and records journal entries
- Strong knowledge of accounting rules and processes
- Assists in the preparation and distribution of periodic financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Downloads, verifies, and reports daily cash receipts and other banking activity
- Prepares bank reconciliations and ensures reconciling items are resolved timely
- Assists with the preparation and coordination of the external/internal audit processes
- Reviews documentation, transactions and entries completed by Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Accounts Receivable to ensure adherence to sound financial practices and company policies
- Performs various financial analyses in support of Monthly Closings, Management Reviews, and Budget and Forecast development. Analysis will include variance, rate and trend analyses, and comparative studies (actual vs. budget vs. prior year)
- Provides responses to financially-oriented inquiries from personnel outside of finance and accounting
- Compiles and formulates all needed data to respond to Government Surveys and inquiries
- Maintains and updates business registrations
- Prepares local, personal property and franchise tax returns on a timely basis
- Assists in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts as needed
- Handles other projects and tasks as assigned by Controller, Director of FP&A, and/or CFO

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business required
- Master’s Degree or CPA preferred. Public Accounting experience a plus
- 3-5 years of related work experience in Accounting/Financial Analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (including excel, word and outlook) is required. Solid command of advanced Excel functions, i.e. Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, and Graphs & Charts is strongly desired
- Proficiency with automated accounting systems and financial reporting systems required
- Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and Adaptive Insights experience strongly desired
