Mail Extraction
- Opens envelopes and extracts contents of mail orders.
- Positions checks and money orders for MICR read; arranges and prepares supplemental documents using pre-established guidelines.
- Recognizes and applies identification bar coded labels to SKU order forms and envelopes.
- Applies transaction identification batch header sheet for each complete grouping of orders.
- Arranges completed documents into physical work bin/unit creating batches for next step.
- Open non-machinable mail envelopes and determine if it is an inquiry or order.
- Stuff customer service letters and refund checks when needed, as well as customer service post cards.
- Meets or exceeds department productivity standards on a consistent basis.
- Performs a variety of routine clerical and mailroom duties as necessary.
Data Entry/Order Processing
- Performs data perfection processes of captured data fields that have low system confidence read levels on customer mail orders, catalog requests, and hand written forms.
- Interprets all customer order contents to determine items ordered, billing address, payment method, and ship to addresses, catalog requests, gift messages, and item numbers.
- Enters data directly into system for non-scanned (Manual Orders) order types.
- Opens and scans mail.
- Visually verifies and/or corrects amounts due by matching handwritten and numerical amounts paid on check.
- Meets or exceeds department productivity standards on a consistent basis.
- Accesses various proprietary computer applications and company website to locate item information.
- Corrects scanned documents that were unable to be processed for a variety of reasons.
