Essential Duties
- Pulls appropriate stock inventory into pallets and transports pallets utilizing forklifts to and from docks; racks and bulk storage areas per facility standards.
- Ensures the proper pallets are selected and put away in correct location.
- Assists in other areas of the warehouse as needed including loading / unloading of trucks.
- Follows proper maintenance and safety procedures to ensure safe operation, upkeep and storage of equipment.
- Completes necessary documentation including daily safety log.
- Moves pallets in and out of the stretch wrapper area.
- Must maintain forklift operator certification, keep in good standing.
- Meets or exceeds performance and productivity goals.
SCOPE
- Performs work under the general direction of the leads and supervisors. Primary job functions occasionally require exercising independent judgment.
- The use of the Raymond Order Picker Forklift requires training and certification. This role is considered the most safety sensitive position in the warehouse as associates are working on and driving elevated equipment.

- Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
- Good computer skills with technical warehouse aptitude.
- Self-starter. Takes ownership without needing to be directed.
- Good communication skills with ability to communicate effectively, read, and interpret documents in the English language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions including procedure manuals.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum one year warehouse experience working on forklifts.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
- Physical activity includes regular standing, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and climbing stairs and ladders.
Extensive walking and working on elevated platforms.
- Ability to lift and / or maneuver up to 75 lbs.
