What are the responsibilities and job description for the EDI Lead position at Collective Health?

Eligibility flows through and impacts every aspect of the Collective Health platform, and we are building out the team responsible for receiving, processing, validating and sending our eligibility information with our partners. We exchange a high volume of files per day with customers, networks, and partners, and are looking for people to be responsible for the operation, quality, and scaling of our data management systems. Through your experiences at Collective Health, you will be a pivotal part of improving the member healthcare experience by operating and scaling our data operations platform.
As an Eligibility Team lead you will focus on a day to day business function and people management. In this role, you will help eligibility optimize its operation, while developing individuals, and coordinating across multiple work streams to ensure success. The role will require strong people skills, analytics, and project management. The Team Lead role is vital to the success of both people and processes within the eligibility team.
What you'll do as a Team lead:
- Build, lead and develop a team
- Coach associates and analysts in mastery of their core job responsibilities through consistent quality evaluations and coaching sessions
- Conduct ongoing development conversations with team members to achieve their goals
- Partner with Eligibility Leadership and drive towards strategic process improvements and industry best practice in operations across Eligibility
- Lead team stand ups, 1:1s, etc and keep the team aligned on key priorities
- Meet aggressive performance goals…driving performance, effectiveness and efficiencies
- Work cross-functionally with multiple Customer Experience teams, FMP, Partner Management & Development, Product, Engineering, and Client Success
- Help build and cultivate a culture of creativity, passion, drive, diversity and inclusiveness

- Execute tasks timely and professionally

Your skills include:
- 3 years lead or people management experience in an operations organization.
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent years of management preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Eligibility processing
- You are analytically minded and like to make data-driven decisions
- Experience leading a team through change
- Experience managing complex work types
- Creative, passionate, and motivated about building key business functions that transform customer and employee experiences
- Project Management
- External or client communication - comfortable leading client calls
- Experience working with Ben Admin and HR systems
- Experience working with carriers
- Understands US healthcare systems
- Experience managing communications and escalation resolution
