Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a new full time Maintenance Technician to join our team! The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. Experience not required, but valued!

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and property to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks for whole property and basic maintenance for apartments (i.e. blinds, water and air filters, light bulbs and fixtures, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Maintain grounds (i.e. keep property clean and free of trash, pressure washing, etc.)
- Supervise and coordinate contractors for specialized repairs or projects
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred
- Prefer experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role
- Ability to work with others and maintain professionalism with residents
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80 per week
