POSITION OVERVIEW
The Manager, Supply Chain, reports to the Director, Supply Chain, and will support many different aspects of Supply Chain Operations. They will lead activities related to supply operations planning, material movement, shipping & logistics, inventory management, operations process management, and other facets found within a supply chain operations department. The Supply Chain Manager will work with various departments to support developing and implementing robust processes enabling a smooth and effective supply chain. This role contributes to the day-to-day operational activities of the department, complies with supply chain policies, best industry standards, and applicable regulations, and works in close collaboration with the External Manufacturing and Quality Assurance teams.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage production schedule, inventory tracker, and shipment tracker to ensure materials are ordered, received, tested, and released in a timely fashion to support the integrated business plan.
- Partner with CMC teams and External Manufacturing function to integrate demand assumptions such as, ex-factory demand by product category and manufacturing assumptions of each unit operation through value chain while ensuring changes to production strategy, manufacturing availability and regulatory requirements are considered.
- Monitor inventory levels at each Manufacturing unit operation and distribution centers; take preventive actions to avoid potential supply issues while minimizing product loss to expiry or destruction.
- Maintain strong partnerships and provide effective communications with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead discussion, problem solving efforts and process improvements to ensure that performance targets are met or exceeded
- Develop and manage production administration processes to support operational execution, including integrated business plans. Provide supply chain insight of product portfolio to Technical Operations function (i.e. change controls, Regulatory filings).
- Support all aspects of the Serialization program, including process management and governance as well as system setup and integration. Work with CMOs and third-party providers to ensure all compliance requirements are fully met.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of related experience required; Minimum of 2-3 years in Supply Chain in Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, CMC, Clinical, Regulatory, and Quality.
- Background in outsourced manufacturing/timelines/requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a cGMP environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) required
