Site Technician

Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an experienced Site Technician to join our growing Telecom team in Connecticut! Candidates will have a strong work ethic, organizational and communication skills, quality workmanship, and a continued quest for knowledge. We are looking for candidates who enjoy learning about and interfacing with various types of wireless technology!

Responsibilities

• Responsible for site visits supporting new site build projects, modifications, small cells, and site integration work as needed in the New England area.
• Preparation of clear and detailed site visit notes including detailed measurements and photos.
• Upload notes and photos within 24 hours of the completion of the site visit. 
• Work with CED project manager to schedule and complete site visits in a timely manner. 
• Engagement with property owners and other stakeholders, representing CED, during the site visit. 
• When available, attend relevant training courses. 
• Occasional travel outside of the area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 3 years of industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of either civil construction or electrical work. 
• Knowledge of telecom site design including power, telco, grounding, access road design, grading wetlands, stormwater, general electrical, and general structural.
• Work well independently and be a team player.
