Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Commercial Analyst who specialises in FP&A to join our Corporate Finance Team.
This role is integral in providing an in-depth analysis on operational and financial results, drive process improvements and efficiencies across the key service lines.
Some of your key responsibility will be:
- Partnering with the key stakeholders on performance against targets/budget.
- Monthly P&L analysis.
- Complete in-depth analysis and detailed commentaries of business unit performance for service lines across Australia.
- Assist in annual budget & biannual forecast submissions process.
- Manage projects aligned to the enterprise or annual business plan including records management, data analytics, technology improvements, system changes and implementation.
- Produce models to project long term growth and track KPI’s.
- Work closely with IT and other Business Service units to drive efficiency and process improvement of reporting and visualisation tools.
- Contribute as part of a team-based approach to the servicing of client needs which includes preparation of client presentations, proposals, and coordination of major client pitches.
- Coordinate the development, documentation and implementation of best practice operational policies and process
- Analyse and identify process workflow improvements at maximise efficiencies.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to commercial analyst.
Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience in a Commercial, Business Analyst or Accounting role.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate financial information to people with a non-financial background.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organisation.
- Have exposure to budgeting, forecasting and analysis experience.
- Advanced Excel Spreadsheet skills.
- Business Intelligence experience such as TM1 (desirable), Planning Analytics and Power BI.
