In this role, you will act as Owner’s Project Manager and will have responsibility to lead, manage, and direct assigned projects through the pre-construction, design and construction phases, working closely with the Director and/or a Senior Project Manager that has overall responsibility for the project and/or client relationship. You will provide consultation services throughout projects and manage consultants and team members assigned to the projects, to maximize value for the projects and the clients.
WHO YOU ARE
We’re looking for outstanding project managers who are super organized, have a keen eye for the details and have independently led and managed multiple healthcare projects simultaneously from start to finish – on time and on budget. You’re good at building strong, trusting client relationships and have a knack for bringing the right people together to come up with innovative ideas and solutions.
You have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the project management process and roles of each team member, advanced knowledge of the process practiced by the architects, engineers, and other consultants, and are experienced at assembling teams and managing all these dynamics. You’re a people person, a relationship builder and can interact with senior level administration, clinical leaders, engineering and facilities staff, and staff from other departments.
You have the ability to manage the process and ensure the clients’ goals and objectives are being addressed and met within the financial and schedule parameters for multiple stakeholders. Your strengths include identifying, assessing, and mitigating issues related to scheduling, logistics, sequencing, cost, quality and progress as well as negotiating claims and change orders.
You are skilled at reviewing and evaluating project related materials such as project descriptions, drawings and specifications, budgets, schedules, contracts, and proposals for services prepared by others, as well as reviewing construction documents on a regular basis for conformance to project goals, value engineering and constructability.
You are experienced in developing project related documents such as monthly reports, budgets, schedules, presentations, minutes, insurance tracking logs, etc. and reviewing documents prepared by internal team members for accuracy and reporting purposes.
You have solid knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local codes and requirements for projects, including State DPH requirements and the ability to develop the ICRA, ILSM, Regulatory, and Permitting approach for the project
