This position is for a ADS/IADS Manufacturing Engineering Technician who is under direct supervision. Performs basic technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects. Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of engineering tasks. Assists higher level support staff to confer with engineers on details and implications of test procedures and results.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Works under direct supervision to provide technical support to engineers on a variety of engineering tasks.

  • Performs basic technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects.

  • Prepares charts, graphs, or diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, or machine utilization.

  • Conducts basic materials test and analysis.

  • Assists higher level support staff to confer with engineers on details and implications of test procedures and results.

  • Maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, engineering design changes to support engineering disciplines.

  • Analyzes, maintains, compiles and formats data and design changes.

  • Processes change orders related to engineering documentation related to manufacturing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

  • OR In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required

  • OR A Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and less than 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
