Maintenance Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities. This includes performing repairs, conducting inspections, and addressing any maintenance issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of our facilities to identify any maintenance needs
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, such as electrical work, plumbing, and carpentry
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement appropriate solutions
- Fabricate or weld parts as needed for repairs or modifications
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or services
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment

Experience:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and carpentry
- Familiarity with schematics and logic controllers
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Leadership skills to supervise and coordinate maintenance projects
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently

Additionally, we provide opportunities for career advancement within our organization. This position will start as a part-time position but does have the possibility in the future of becoming a full-time position.

Hours: Monday-Friday 9AM-2PM (25 hours a week)
