Job Description
The IT Specialist will provide front line troubleshooting of technology with timely processing of printed materials.
Responsibilities Include:
- Serves as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone or email
- Work with vendors for maintenance and repair of hardware and software
- Install and make changes and repair computer hardware and software
- Ability to image computers, net new, refresh, repair
- Determines the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
- Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
- Maintain inventory of all supplies: paper, ink, envelopes, etc.
- Interact with company Managers, Supervisors and employees for maintenance of forms design, processing and delivery methods
- Use check systems to process, print, log and deliver various types of company checks
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Provide accurate information on IT products or services
- Record events, problems, and their resolution in logs
- Follow-up and update customer status and information
- Pass feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
- Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
- Able to provide after-hours support as needed
Job Requirements
- 3 years of experience in help desk technician role or similar
- 3 years of experience Windows operating systems troubleshooting
- 3 years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Office 365
- Hardware troubleshooting experience
- Openness to learning new technologies
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail oriented in order to keep notes on tickets
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to explain technical concepts and procedures to non-technical users
- Familiarity with configuring and maintaining AnyQueue print management platform or similar product is preferred
