What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer PT Sat/Sun 4pm - 12am position at COLONIAL SECURITY SERVICES?
We are seeking a Security Officer at a site in Glassboro, NJ to work part time. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.
Responsibilities
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
- Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
Skills
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- SORA licensed preferred or willing to obtain one
