Project Coordinator

Description

Colony Display LLC excels in creating top-tier, both standard and bespoke, point-of-purchase and extensive retail displays for a wide range of retailers across the country. We’re expanding our team and in search of an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Project Coordinator. Ideal applicants will possess a background in the retail fixtures manufacturing industry. The Project Coordinator role supports the project planning process by documenting processes and collaborating with team members and assisting in process improvement efforts.

Job Requirements:

• Assist the Project Manager and/or Program Manager with assigned projects. 
• Assist with developing the project start-up and close-out checklists. 
• Create and maintain project folders; lead cross-functional development of project supporting documents.
• Review real-time execution status of assigned projects and escalate issues as needed.
• Prepare, lead, and coordinate weekly project status meetings and report on overall status and task health. 
• Coordinate directly with customers and vendors as required for day-to-day project coordination.
• Maintain assigned work within assigned projects. 
• Aid in process improvement efforts. 

These are illustrative duties, and the job holder will be expected to become involved in a range of work to enable the department to respond effectively to the requirements of the company.

Requirements

• 3 years of coordinating project experience with a success record for process improvements. 
• Preferred experience in the retail / hospitality fixture and furniture manufacturing. 
• Demonstrates the ability to take ownership of tasks to be responsible for outcomes. 
• Utilize critical and logical thinking to problem-solve skills to efficiently resolve challenges. 
• Show a consistent desire for personal and professional development. 
• Capable of articulating ideas and information clearly and persuasively. 
• Possesses the ability to make well-informed and significant choices in line with organizational standards. 
• Has the capability to inspire both self and others to achieve the project objects while optimizing process and performance. 
• Commits to being reliable and accountable for professional conduct. 
• Manage multiple tasks with precision and efficiency. 
• Skilled in using MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with Epicor 10 in the project management process is strongly desired.
