Major Responsibility
Coordinates and logs routes for the morning and afternoon delivery trucks.- Provides information and support to drivers throughout the day, such as phone numbers, addresses, etc.
- Sorts paperwork from the previous night’s work, such as credit card receipts, and truck logs.
- Provides information to branches throughout the day, such as delivery times, signature capture, picture capture, and package refusals.
- Keeps up-to-date files pertaining to each route and maintains data as needed.
- Tracks orders through computer programs (FACTS, WebAPPS, Teletrac) prioritizing the most critical and ensuring that they are filled and packed in a timely manner to facilitate on time delivery schedule.
- Assists drivers with loading trucks prior to departure.
- Moves skids in a safe and efficient manner using an electric pallet jack.
- Assist pickers and packers with overflow as needed.
- Collaborates with the Operations and Fleet Manager to coordinate appointments and maintain fleet.
- Prepares daily maintenance reports on vehicles to determine needed repairs or inspections.
- Prepare end-of-month mileage report to determine required oil changes.
- Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required.- Minimum of 1-year experience in a dispatch-related position or role, preferably in a distribution environment.
- Valid Driver’s License. Motor Vehicle Record must show a record of sustained safe driving with no moving violations in the last 3 years.

- Excellent communication skills including speaking, reading, and writing in the English language with the ability to converse verbally with others on the phone and/or in person.
- Must have outstanding customer service skills with the ability to interpret customer needs as well as demonstrate a customer service mindset when dealing with internal and external customers.

Working Conditions
This position is a full-time, Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM position*. Excellent attendance, punctuality, and work a flexible schedule, including weekends, is required.

Physical Requirements/Equipment Used
- Lifting up to 100 pounds while demonstrating safety techniques
- Moving about the warehouse and loading dock area majority of the day
- Exiting and entering vehicles several times per day
- Must be able to climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel, and work in small spaces
- and various climates.
Equipment used includes:
- Desktop computer and mouse/tablet.
- Telephone, cellphone, fax machine, GPS.
- Forklift and motorized pallet jack.
- Scanning equipment, such as RF scanners
- Motor vehicles, such as vans and trucks.
