Jr. Planner

To analyze material requirements and kit demand. Create and distribute work orders. Perform quality inspections on in-process and finished goods. Review DHR and release kits for distribution.

Major Areas of Accountability:

• Responsible for updating MRP relevant data
• Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
• Usage of planning tools in E1 e.g., ERP, MRP and WMS for daily planning of raw materials, intermediate and finished goods
• Completions of Work orders for US Marketing/Surgical Endo-urology kitting items
• Support the change request process with carrying out relevant activities
• Comply with manufacturing practices, standards, methods, facilities, policies, and procedures by studying relevant QMS documents and regulatory requirements
• Complete documentation and review of records required for inspections, audits, and corrective actions (including device history records and non-conformance reports)
• Review DHR. Prepare and release product
• Perform transfer of materials in ERP system
• Place material on hold or quarantine when appropriate
• Assist production with resolution of quality issues regarding incoming materials
• Troubleshoot minor issues and elevate larger problems to management
• Others duties as assigned

Environmental, Health and Safety Responsibilities:

• Comply with company standards or environment, health, and safety
• Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with instructions from EHS and Supervisor/Lead
• Immediately report unsafe conditions or job hazards to your Supervisor
• Always wear required Personal Protective Equipment
• Always follow warning signs and labels, e.g., "HOT", "DANGER", etc.
• Report accidents, injuries, illnesses, near misses and property damage to your Supervisor

Essential Qualifications:

• At least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in MRP manufacturing systems
• Strong negotiating skills
• At lease one year of quality inspection experience, preferably in a medical device environment
• Ability to lift 20 points

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Excellent skills using MS Excel
• Proficient skills using MS Office Suite (MS Project, Work, Powerpoint, Visio, Outlook)
• Proficient math skills
• Ability to read and accurately follow written instructions/documents
• Ability to read and understand bills of materials, specifications, inspections, procedures, and certifications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for multi-level company interaction
• Ability to apply mathematical operations to perform audits and incoming inspections
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
• Well organized and detail oriented
• Lean and continuous improvement experience preferred
• Good time management skills and the ability to multi-task
