The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist is responsible for establishing a complete quality assurance program that not only safeguards quality but also fosters a culture in which all employees are actively engaged. The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist will be responsible for assessing quality, efficiency, productivity, and proposing measures to correct or improve Comfort Medical’s order to cash operations.
Major Areas of Accountability
Assist in defining and developing quality program status indicators and performance measurements.
Create and maintain quality assurance standards, scorecards and procedures (SOP) for the Order to Cash team in accordance with all Comfort Medical policies and values.
Maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions
Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits
Identify training needs and take action to ensure companywide compliance
Provide trend analysis on quality issues and performance metrics.
Lead and support the audit processes including planning, preparation, execution,
reporting results, and remedial work plans.
Coordinate deviation and non-conformance processes and ensure corrective and preventive actions
address fundamental causes.
Ensure appropriate competency levels are maintained.
Continuously improve knowledge of customer expectations and risk management.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum AA/AS preferred or equivalent experience
Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role
Highly motivated, detail and results oriented with strong execution, organization, and administrative experience.
Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance
Good communication skills and hands-on mentality
Excellent data collection and analysis skills
Language: Fluent in English.
Fluency in technical and common office software
Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight – up to 10%

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
