Job Function Summary:
Works in warehouse operations to ensure that there is a constant flow of complete and correct outgoing shipments, internal record keeping, as well as loads, unloads, and moves materials in the warehouse by performing the following duties:
Major Areas of Accountability:
- Pick, scan and pack medical products accurately
- Properly shelve components, raw materials and finished goods
- Proper handling of special instructions/orders
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, racks and shelves by hand or manual pallet jack
- Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain material to be moved
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, pallets or other containers.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Provides feedback to the lead, supervisor or manager on any assembly/process issues that impact quality or production
- Assembles various part kits to satisfy work order requirements
- Inventories all kits as completed to assure proper count
- Inspect components prior to packaging
- Adheres to and accurately completes all production-related documentation

Education And/Or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and routine reports. Ability to speak effectively and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees of the operation. Must have the ability to comprehend work instructions provided in English (both verbal and written).
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
- Basic knowledge of RF scanner system
- Basic knowledge of Enterprise One (E1) computer application
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Industrial truck operators are required to attend in-house training and periodically test for license to operate the equipment.
