We are a paint-your-own-pottery studio that has been serving the Crystal Lake community for over 20 years. People of all ages and backgrounds join us to paint lots of things, from mugs and plates to figurines and decor. We glaze and fire pieces in studio for customers to pick up a week later.
This job is great for someone with a background in retail, restaurants, working with kids, or any service-oriented line of work. Art skills are not a requirement - but an interest in art and painting is amazing! No art experience needed - we will train the right candidate. This is a heavily customer service-based job, so experience working with people is necessary.
As a studio associate your duties would include: greeting customers and providing service, booking and hosting birthday parties, assisting customers with painting ideas and techniques, operating cash register, answering phone calls, preparing pottery for pickup, stocking pottery and supplies, and maintaining a clean environment. All training is provided.
Part time position available for 3-4 days a week with a possible increase in the summertime. We are specifically looking for someone comfortable hosting birthday parties and kids nights.
