We have an exciting opportunity for a CAD-BIM Specialist. This specialized position has been inserted into our organizational structure to increase field productivity and quality, by developing coordinated install drawings, fabrication schedules, and providing points for GPS layouts. This position is responsible for working closely with the Prefabrication departments, project foreman, Superintendents, Project Managers, layout specialist, and management staff providing project deliverables, while maintaining budgets, project milestones, and schedules as provided.
Salary Range: $75,000.00 to $95,000.00

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Attending hand-off meeting to establish project deliverables and dates
- Maintaining a drawing and layout schedule to be reviewed weekly with the Operations Manager
- Tracking all time allocated to each job individually and to be signed off by the Operations Manager
- Coordinating with the management team on assigned projects to request and receive design CAD files along with developing project deliverables
- Take the engineering design intent drawings and develop them through the use of CAD into coordinated install drawing and shop drawings that will be provided to the field and fabrication departments as required
- Taking the engineered design intent drawings and providing points for layouts as required
- Working with a Layout Specialist to ensure productive and quality layouts are performed as required
- Assisting or running BIM/VDC on projects as required
- Work closely with the prefabrication departments, management staff, superintendents, and foreman to ensure installation documents are consistent and provided on time to meet project schedules
- Work through errors and revisions as required by each individual project
- Keep all software, templates, and programs up-to-date
- Continually develop and drive department to gain efficiency and further integration with other departments
- Capable of reading blueprints and specifications
- 5 years experience in the Mechanical (Plumbing, Pipefitting, HVAC) CAD/BIM.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient at Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word.
- Proficient at Trible/layout Software and Systems
- Must have 3 years of Revit experience
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Must possess the ability to multitask
- Mentality to take initiative and resolve problems as they arise
