Nanny
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Provide safe childcare according to club guidelines
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide childcare for players’ and coaches’ children during scheduled home games.
- Work together with all nannies to ensure a child-safe environment.
- Communicate with children’s parents.
- Assist in the supervision of children’s activities, games and naptime.
- Change diapers of infants and toddlers following proper health guidelines.
- Wash and sanitize toys and play equipment when needed.
- Attend planning sessions.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all child and family information.
- Supervise the children’s restroom use when needed.
- Prepare bottles, formulas and snacks.
- Administer basic First Aid.
- Maintain the family room in a safe, sanitary and orderly condition.
- Provide assistance with projects assigned by the Manager of Community Affairs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have at least 2 years of formal childcare training.
- Be comfortable working with children of all ages.
- At least 3 years of experience working with children as a director, nanny, teacher, teacher assistant or childcare specialist.
- Must be trustworthy and accountable.
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
- Must be able to manage high pressure situations well.
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be consistent and have regular attendance and communication.
- Must maintain a professional image and demeanor.
- Must have a strong ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment.
- Certification in First Aid and C.P.R. is preferred.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
- Bilingual is a plus.
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Must be available to work 75% of home games.
SALARY RANGE:
- $23.01 per hour. This is a temporary status, part-time position not eligible for all company benefits.
