Colson Group USA is seeking an Inventory Analyst for our Jonesboro Arkansas facility. This role will act as support to purchasing and planning in an effort to accurately forecast and analyze needs. Additionally, the Inventory Analyst will project inventory levels based on a sales forecast and historical cost of goods sold.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitors and drive E&O disposition including sell, substitute, or salvage
- Works with facility management to understand and correct job material variances that result from incomplete transactions, identify the root cause and coordinate the changes needed in the data base or process
- Monitors and correct sales orders that do not transact correctly and therefore may not relieve inventory
- Monitors inventory transactions for correctness, completeness and accuracy, resolve incorrect inventory balances, determine root cause and initiate corrective action
- Plans and oversee returned goods administration and disposition
- Plans and oversee a physical inventory, floor to file audits, oversee the cycle count program and maintain and report inventory accuracy
- Monitors the receiving of PO’s and plant transfer process, corrects issues identified
- Serves as liaison between customer service and shipping to facilitate order changes, investigate customer complaints involving packaging packing, and shipping
- Develops policies, processes, user procedures, and train associates for all above processes
