Head Start Assistant Teacher/Assistant Group Supervisor - Bloomsburg Children's Center
Are you a passionate and dedicated educator who wants to teach children in their formative early years? Then Columbia Child Development Program, a NAEYC accredited Keystone STAR 4 Child Care program, is the place for you!
CCDP has an immediate opening for an Assistant Teacher in the Head Start classroom. This full-time position is in a year-round Child Care program, and will work from 9:30am-5:30pm daily. Great benefits including health insurance and generous paid time off! Hourly rate depends on education level.

What we’re looking for:
  • Applicants must enjoy working with preschool children
  • A CDA (Child Development Associate) or associate degree is preferred, however applicants must have one of the following credentials:
    • A high school diploma or GED and two years of experience working with children
    • 15 college credits in early education and one year experience working with children
    • 30 college credits in early education
  • Applicants who do not have a CDA or associate degree must be willing to obtain a CDA. CCDP will assist in the process and pay for this certification.

What you’ll do:
  • Teach children and carry out the daily activities of child care under the guidance of Group Supervisors
  • Supervise and interact with preschool children in all activities
  • Help maintain a safe, healthy learning environment

Columbia Child Development Program, a NAEYC accredited Keystone STAR 4 Child Care program in Bloomsburg, PA has an immediate opening for a Floater/ Assistant Group Supervisor. We are looking for an energetic, caring person who enjoys working with children. Hourly rate depends on education level and experience. Hourly rate range is $12.42-$14.30 per hour.
This is a full-time position working in a year-round Child Care program. Hours may vary, but will usually be 9:30am-5:30pm. Great benefits including health insurance and generous paid time off.
