Student Employee - Office Assistant

Rate of Pay: $13 - $13 per hour (Pay range may vary based on geographic location)

Purpose:
Student employment fosters a positive environment for students to gain work experience while supporting their academics and assisting with the financial expense of higher education.

Essential Functions:
- Assist in identifying needs of walk-in students and prospects to make appropriate referral to campus team member.
- Assist students with navigating the CC website and answer questions about D2L and other resources.
- Answer telephone calls using courteous and professional manner. needed.
- Perform filing and data entry
- Assists with day-to-day clerical functions.
- Help with student appreciation and other events.
- Comply with The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) requirements as aligned with the University System of Columbia College.
- Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
- Work Study Eligible.
- Must Complete FAFSA (Domestic Students)
- Enrolled/Attending at least half-time for regular semester sessions.
- Must not be on Financial Aid Suspension or Academic Suspension.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
