What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Assistant position at Columbia Consulting Group?
The primary purpose of this position will be to maintain and support equipment in a flow cytometry core facility in Seattle WA and provide support as needed to global Cell Therapy Development and Operations (CTDO) sites.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in a scientific discipline with 0-3 years relevant industry experience.
Experience Ability to work on multiple platforms of cytometry systems
Ability to understand flow cytometry concepts and apply in daily work
Sorting experience is desired
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary responsibilities
1. Execute daily operation of flow cytometry core facility including daily QC, maintenance, and troubleshooting
2. Standardization and characterizing cytometers within the core facility
3. Contribute to the development and implementation of longitudinal analytical methods
4. Oversee training for end users and provide subject matter expertise with instrumentation and analysis
5. Detail work performed in technical writing including Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and report righting in a controlled document setting.
6. Support end users with sorting experiments
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 per hour
