The IT Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's information systems and technology infrastructure. Lead a team of IT professionals to ensure the efficient and effective use of technology resources in support of the company's objectives and strategic goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is an on-site position in Aurora, Oregon.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute IT strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Identify opportunities for the use of technology to improve business processes, enhance productivity, and drive innovation.
Provide leadership and direction to the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the IT department.
In collaboration with the IT SysAdmin, oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage systems.
Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of IT systems and infrastructure.
In collaboration with the IT Systems Analysts, manage the development, customization, and integration of software applications to meet the organization's business needs.
Provide support and troubleshooting for business-critical applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
Manage IT security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organization's data and information assets.
Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies, and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and contractors.
Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing to ensure value for money and quality of service.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices related to IT operations and data security, to include NIST 800-171 and CMMC.
Conduct regular risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate identified risks.
Manage the IT department budget, including forecasting, planning, and cost control.
Monitor expenses, track ROI, and justify investments in IT projects and initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience (5 years preferred) in a senior IT leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing IT teams and projects.
5 years experience managing personnel and budgets, with demonstrated proficiency in conflict resolution and cost control.
Strong technical expertise in areas such as network infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, and software development.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving business results through technology innovation.
Ability to handle changing workload and priorities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
