In this role you are responsible for the planning, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance and management of corporate application systems, including WINS, ImageRight, Documaker, Print, EZ-Survey, and various reporting and analytical tools.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage activities related to the maintenance, enhancement and implementation and testing of assigned application systems.
- Assist in evaluation and selection of application systems.
- Responsible for project management of application systems.
- Responsible for hiring, supervision, training and development of application staff personnel.
- Maintain and coordinate efforts with other IT areas to assure efficient processes are implemented and coordinate projects with overlapping or joint responsibilities.
- Provide liaison and business services to user departments to define, design and implement new applications and enhancement/maintenance to the assigned application systems.
- Support statutory/regulatory/bureau compliance as required.
- Participates as the IT representative on selected corporate task forces/committees as directed.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of supervisory experience in an IT environment
- Understand Agile/Scrum processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them, plus leverage techniques to provide value to a team/organization
- Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a matrix team environment
- Excellent customer service skills including listening skills, problem-solving skills, confidence, patience, politeness, tact, diplomacy, and the ability to deal with difficult situations
- Demonstrated ability to establish, manage and leverage relationships with internal and external partners at all levels
- Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- PMP and/or other industry certifications in Project Management
- 3-5 years’ experience in leading teams involved in agile project work
- Experience in the Commercial P&C Insurance industry
- Strong presentation skills
