Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports the
    company’s revenue and profit targets.
  • Effectively prospect for new dealers while developing existing dealer and key account relationships.
  • Regularly conduct product and sales training for dealer personnel.
  • Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects, and be available and
    responsive to customers’ real-time needs.
  • Complete sales activity reports and prepare presentations in a timely manner.
  • Travel as required to develop and grow business in the assigned territory, and to several national events.
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated strong work ethic.
  • Conduct annual sales plans and prepare rolling forecasts with dealers.
  • Build long-term, productive and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new dealers and decisionmakers without reliance on excessive client entertainment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business / Marketing or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience:
    • Must be able to thrive in a team atmosphere with a positive “can-do” attitude.
    • Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development and lead qualification.
    • Proven history of effective territory and dealer management by meeting sales targets and generating
      increased revenue.
    • 5 years selling capital equipment or retail vehicles to an independent network of dealers.
    • Prior experience training and developing independent dealer sales personnel to sell retail products is a must.
    • Ability to travel extensively within an assigned territory.

  • Base Salary

Education

Required
  • Bachelors or better in Marketing Management or related field
