Director - Surgical Services (clinical)

What you need to know about this position:

• The Clinical Director - Surgical Services provides vision, leadership and accountability in developing, driving and deploying strategies, integration and key initiatives across the surgical service line including Outpatient Surgery, Operating Room, PACU, Anesthesia and Endoscopy.
• Reporting to the VP - Hospital Outpatient & Nursing Services, this position will build long-term relationships with key stakeholders while ensuring and fostering a high level of collaboration within a matrixed team environment.
• Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The base compensation is one portion of the total rewards package including leader incentive, and a comprehensive benefits program is available.
• This position is a salaried position and will require you to work primarily Monday through Friday 7am-4pm onsite in Columbus, IN but will require hours outside these times to meet the needs of the departments and our patients.

What the successful candidate will bring to this position:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required, a Master's Degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Administration preferred.
• Atleast 5 years direct nursing experience in Surgical Services.
• EPIC experience.
• Progressive growth in leadership positions over the past 10 years in a healthcare environment with at least 5 years of leadership experience required.
• Experience in Administrative services and/or program development, Ambulatory surgery preferred.
• Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) required.
• Relevant professional Nursing Certification preferred.
