Job Description
Clerks perform essential clerical and administrative tasks that support the departments in which they work. Clerks can work in one of several different areas of the warehouse such as Inventory Control, Shipping, Receiving, and Assembly Line/Production areas. Successful candidates can be started in one area of the operation. Successful candidates can be cross-trained to eventually work in other departments, over time as, their skills and experience develop. Duties and Responsibilities
All Clerks Must Be Able To:
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
- Compare paperwork to data on computer screens for accuracy and legibility.
- Update area status reports.
- Able to understand and communicate both in writing and orally in the English language.
- Must possess a good working understanding of daily expectations and must be able to write work expectations step by step.
- Must be able to work in various warehouse systems such as BlueYonder, IRMS, Jira
- Provide labeling support and data entry, where applicable
- Enter manual billing for the department for non-automated functions
- Multitask and manage through multiple deliverables at the same time.
Shipping Clerks Must Be Able To
- Wave B2B orders in BlueYonder platform based on the ship window listed in B2B order status report, often using 3rd party portals to print UCC labels
- Enter 3rd party portals for packout / ASN entry and filing to meeting routing requirements for clients.
- Process Manual ASN Transmission for non-EDI integrated clients via 3rd party portals
- Route and coordinate LTL / Freight shipments in accordance with client / customer routing guides across various retail customers
- Initiate quote requests with various freight carriers to meet client needs
- Coordinate with dock drivers (internal and external) to load trucks and obtain proper sign offs

- Needs to be able to speak English. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Professional positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and basic math skills.
- Proven history of reliability and punctuality.
- Strong Computer skills with Microsoft Office (Ex. Word, Excel, & email).
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while standing, sitting, walking and bending.
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull weight up to 50 lbs.
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to dust, fumes, and changes to temperature and humidity.
