What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tank Inspector position at Comal Solutions?
- 8-10 hour days, M-F, weekends periodically
- The majority of job tasks consist of internally accessing production tanks, visual inspection, assessing corrosion, and working with sandblast/coating crews to repair tanks.
Requirements:
- Drivers license with clean record
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Require at least 2 years of oil field experience
- Able to work alone in remote areas
- Able to navigate to and from remote oil and gas facilities
- Able to work safely at all times
- Able to repeatedly climb ladders, squat, lie down, reach, twist, etc.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. safely and effectively
- Able to crawl into equipment manway openings
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to focus attention on single tasks for long periods
- Ability to perform basic algebraic calculations
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Able to work weekends periodically
- Able to complete detailed inspection reports in a timely manner
- Perform job safely, effectively, and efficiently
- Exhibit teamwork and alignment within team as well as various other groups
- Learn the job requirements based on company expectations, and follow company policies and procedures
