JOB SUMMARY
Assure aircraft maintenance work, materials and practices conform to FAA, customer, company and manufacturers' standards of quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Fabricates, Installs, Modifies, Removes, Repairs, aircraft parts and major structural components
- Plans, cuts, bends, drills, fits, forms, lays out, shapes, reams, Installs fasteners assembles and installs sheet metal parts and airframe structural members
- Works with close tolerance dimensions and various types of fasteners using common hand tools, special instruments and pneudraulic tools.
- Repairs flight control surfaces, engine cowling, and fuel cell/tank maintenance
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires the individual to be enrolled, planning to enroll within 30-60 days and/or graduated in/from Aviation School. This position requires a willingness to learn, hard worker, and the ability to perform the above duties and responsibilities.
AST I:
- Less than 1 year experience No A&P License
- No experience with A&P License
AST II:
- Less than 3 years’ experience No A&P License
- No experience with A&P License
AST III:
- 4 Years’ experience with or without an A&P License
- Experience on at least 2 types of aircraft
- Experience on at least 2 types of engines
- Requires some direction and leadership training

Salary : $55,700 - $70,500
