Comcast's Technology & Product organization works at the intersection of media and technology. Core Responsibilities
- Serve as a product manager for Xfinity Home
- Serve as subject matter expert on product features and ensure all teams are in alignment with product specifications and objectives
- Keep up to date on the technology and market trends; forecast opportunities and threats to our businesses
- Perform competitive research and analyses and keep the rest of the team abreast through industry/competitive/technology briefs
- Contribute to the product vision across the team and the organization
- Develop business cases for new products and features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define and manage product roadmaps and to deliver on them
- Define product requirements for new products, features, and use cases; define acceptance criteria for each
- Identify, assign, and commit functional resources to meet product commitments
- Coordinate closely with engineering and program leads to ensure alignment between technical, business, and field teams on product features and releases
- Participate in architecture and engineering activities, including release/sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and bug reviews
- Keep track of release plans; identify and keep track of dependencies and risks and work with program leads to mitigate them
- Manage change requests, validate downstream deliverables, and final offerings
- Interface with business units to ensure a go-to-market strategy is defined and in place before a new device launch
- Keep track of product performance through data collection and analysis; create and maintain dashboards to maintain product use and performance
- Internalize and represent the Voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field
- Two to five (2-5) years of experience in product development or technical product management roles in the tech industry, of which two (2) years must be in developing or managing software for embedded products and services
Preferred
- Industry experience in IoT or home security industry
- Experience with Agile/Scrum
- Experience in developing or managing server/cloud-based software and services, Amazon Web Services preferred
- Experience in developing products or solutions for telecom carriers
