What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solutions Architect position at Comcentric?
We are seeking a Solutions Architect for a 6 month contract (remote after orientation in Phoenix, AZ).
Our client is looking for a candidate who will lead the architecting and delivery of highly scalable, high-performance data integration and transformation platforms. These solutions will combine cloud, hybrid, and legacy environments that require a broad and deep stack of data engineering skills. In this role you will lead the requirements and solution concept development.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build robust, reusable, and scalable data driven solutions and data pipeline frameworks to automate the ingestion, processing and delivery of both structured and unstructured batch and real-time streaming data
- Build data APIs and data delivery services to support critical operational processes, analytical models, and machine learning applications
- Assist in selection and integration of data related tools, frameworks, and applications required to expand platform capabilities
- Scale solutions to support multiple efforts, establish design patterns and software that can be leveraged outside the team.
Qualifications:
- Experience in building data lake, cloud data platform leveraging cloud (Azure) cloud native architecture, ETL/ELT, and data integration
- Experience with integration and service frameworks (e.g API Gateways, Apache Camel, Swagger API, Zookeeper, Kafka, messaging tools, microservices)
- Advanced level knowledge and experience working with Python and SQL programming.
- In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies, diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles
