Commercial Loan Services Utility Analyst
The Commercial Loan Services Utility Analyst assists with servicing all commercial loan customer segments. The Analyst independently analyzes complex loan documentation to set up, fund, and maintain commercial loan accounts using the AFS and/or DEALS systems for syndicated, participation bought, bilateral, substandard and Small Business Administration loans. The Analyst serves as a liaison to loan groups and is called upon to quickly shift gears often moving from one team to another, depending on where there is a need.

Position Responsibilities:
Financial Services:
Responsible for reading and interpreting credit agreements and associated loan documents to ensure loan accounting system updates are accurate; facilitate advances, apply payments, manage repricings and update rates. Set up new loans, update accrual schedules, process Swap transactions, and perform other loan indicative maintenance.
Liaison Support:
Provide support to Commercial Loan Services Analysts. Serve as liaison between group managers, relationship managers, Loan Fulfilment, lending assistants, Capital Markets, agent banks and Commercial Loan Services.
Risk Management:
Independently analyze Immediate Handlings, Agent Bank notices, funding and advance requests for the proper format and completeness of information and identifying and determine the required documentation needed to complete the requested tasks. Resolve complex loan issues and verify supporting documentation received meets Comerica's credit policy, GFT wire Policy and LTS processing standards. Ensure compliance with SBA 7A reporting and Anti Money Laundering requirements.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, Business Administration degree preferred or High School Diploma/GED and 7 years relevant work experience
4 years of banking or financial services experience
3 years of commercial lending industry experience preferably in loan servicing knowledge
3 years of analysis experience
2 years of Customer Relations experience
2 years Microsoft Office and prefer loan accounting system skills knowledge
