Female Client in St. Louis Park
Pay: $16.00- $18.00 an hour
Mon, Wed, Fri 12:00pm-4:00pm
Duties:
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Engage in social activities and provide companionship
- Assist with behavior management and crisis intervention if needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the individuals under your care
Skills:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is preferred
- Knowledge of social work principles and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
- Knowledge of first aid and basic medical procedures
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors and adapt to different situations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
