Job Posting for Room Prep at Comfort Inn/Blair Hotels LLC
The Comfort Inn Cody is hiring a seasonal room prep person to assist housekeeper with removal and transport of soiled linens from guest rooms to laundry area. This is a 5 day a week position from 8am to 3:30pm. Availability on weekends is required. Must be at least 14 years old. The wage is $13.00 per hour, uniforms provided, hotel and restaurant discounts.
Responsibilities include:
-Gathering and removing trash from guest room
-Strip soiled linens from beds and bathrooms of guest rooms and transport to laundry area
-Stock housekeepers cart room with fresh linens and towels and amenities; neat and orderly
-Assisting housekeepers with making beds
Qualifications/Physical requirements:
-Strong attention to detail, working carefully within minimum time
-Must be able to follow written and verbal directions
-The ability to manage priorities
-Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions
-Must be able to lift 50 to 75lbs unassisted and push carts of linen up to 400lbs
-Must be capable of frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, and carrying
-Must be flexible in hours and days available to work in accordance to business need
