What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Comfort Keepers?
Comfort Keepers of Anderson services all of Anderson, Pickens, and Oconee Counties. With clients in three counties, caregiver opportunities increase consistently!
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes or assisted living facilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing the client's living space
- Assist in client transportation to/from appointments/shopping/errands
- Lift and transfer clients safely using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Ensure the comfort and well-being of clients by providing emotional support and companionship
- Maintain accurate documentation of client care activities and report any changes in condition to supervisor/office immediately
Skills:
- Experience in caregiving is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform lifting and physical tasks related to client care
- Knowledge of client rights and ability to provide person-centered care
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between client locations
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a strong desire to help others
- Ability to work independently while following care plans

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.75 - $14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 16 per week
