What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elderly Assistant position at Comfort Keepers?
Duties:
- Provide direct support to elderly individuals in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Remind of medication schedules
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of lifting equipment if required
(Never having to lift over 25 lbs)
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for the elderly individual
- Engage in social activities and provide companionship
- Drive the elderly individual to appointments or outings as needed
Requirements:
- Experience in elder care or a related field is preferred but not required (paid training)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
MUST HAVE ACCESS TO SMART PHONE/INTERNET AND BASIC INTERNET KNOWLEDGE
