Scheduling coordinator

Comfort Keepers, a leading provider of home care services, is looking for a passionate, driven, and motivated Care / Scheduling Coordinator to join our team! As the Care / Scheduling Coordinator, you are responsible for planning and coordinating the schedule for our professional caregivers based on current and new client service needs.

Care and Scheduling Coordinator - Responsibilities

Proactively manages the ongoing client relationship. Uses independent judgment to accomplish problem resolution, increasing support for clients, and quality assurance.

Anticipates needs and advises families.

• Schedules and apportions work among caregivers based on skills and performance.
• Identifies and addresses scheduling issues of caregivers and clients.
• Assists with regular and routine assessments of current clients, including identifying and making recommendations regarding any safety concerns.
• Follows up appropriately with clients and staff after new assignments are complete.
• Follows all office communication and documentation protocols to ensure consistent, exceptional service is provided to clients and staff.
• Must be able to work under time pressure and manage multiple demands simultaneously.
• Conducts client intakes and assessments as needed.

Qualifications :

• High School diploma required
• Bachelor's degree is plus, but not required
• Customer service-related experience a plus, but not required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :

• Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Will need to master additional software as well.
• Excellent people skills.
• Must be an independent thinker with the ability for flexibility and creativity in identifying and solving problems.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Must possess above average human relations, customer service, problem solving, and organizational skills. Attention to detail is essential.
• Excellent telephone and communication skills are necessary. Must be a team player willing to share information and collaborate cooperatively with other members of the management team and caregiving staff.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Strong relationship-building skills with people from diverse backgrounds and education levels.
