About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to manage a portfolio of members that are enrolled in the Premier Banking program by assessing customer needs regularly and offering appropriate financial solutions. This job will also focus on growing program enrollment through strategic planning that includes marketing, referrals, and partnerships.
- Position could be located at any of the Commerce branch locations within the market footprint.
Essential Functions
Customize and build an account team around the needs of each client situation and provide consistent communication to all stakeholders
Utilize business leads to cultivate relationships, broaden knowledge of client and further business objectives
Build key partnerships with branch colleagues by participating in referral calls together
Cultivate a referral pipeline as appropriate
Provide continuous education on offerings and changes as appropriate within assigned market
Work campaign leads to set appointments with clients and strategically plan contact timing
Ensure timely responsiveness to customer interactions within the CONNECT application
Process fraud alerts as necessary
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Intermediate understanding of banking policies and procedures
Basic knowledge of investment acumen
Ability to manage approval authority
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience required
3 years retail banking and/or financial services experience required
