The Role:
The Chief Financial Officer will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and operations to drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset and a proven track record in financial management within the SaaS sector, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and profitability.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and refine financial strategies to support the company’s business goals, while managing financial risks.
- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, financial planning, treasury, tax, legal and auditing.
- Provide leadership and direction to the finance team to ensure operational excellence.
- Prepare reliable, current and forecasting reports, financial statements, and cash flow analysis.
- Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.
- Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems.
- Oversee the company’s finance IT, systems and tools.
- Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies.
- Manage relationships with partners and investors.
- Explore new investment opportunities and provide recommendations on potential returns and risks.
- Lead efforts to optimize cost structures and enhance revenue streams.
- Report financial status and progress to the board and shareholders regularly.
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to strategize and solve problems.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
- Strong leadership and organizational skills; leading and empowering others through mechanisms and data (e.g. Amazon ‘CFO’ like rigor and experience).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Analytics relevant field
- MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA) is preferred.
- Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role, preferably in a high-growth SaaS company.
