Role and Responsibilities:
- Performs the duties of a paying and receiving teller: cashes checks; accepts deposits and loan payments and safe deposit rent; sells Official Checks; completes CTRs and Cash Log as needed; takes check orders; performs Visa/Mastercard cash advances;
- Performs the duties of a Customer Service representative: opens new accounts; monitors check orders; cross-sells all accounts offered by the bank; assists customers with IRAs and IRA questions and with account inquiries and outgoing wires; orders Mastercard debit/ATM cards; distributes incoming mail daily.
- Opens, Balances, and Closes Card Wizard Machine daily.
- Complies with CIP requirements.
- Scans teller work for Branch Capture and performs regular cleaning of scanner.
- Balances ATM and cash vault on a rotating basis.
- Assists with opening and closing procedures.
- Orders office supplies as needed.
- Answers telephone and assists customer or transfers to the appropriate person.
- Seeks opportunities to expand banking relationship with customers.
- Completes all training assigned by HR, IT, Compliance, BSA, and supervisor on a timely basis.
- Employee has prompt and regular attendance.
- Has a helpful attitude with co-workers and customers.
- Strives to improve the efficiency in his/her work area through cost savings.
- Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
- Follows IT Security Policies and Procedures, including the diligent reporting of phishing emails.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
